Some Fine Print

New customers are asked to register first and provide me with details about you and your cat(s). I don't sell this information to third parties - honestly, I wouldn't know how!

To prevent no-shows and last minute cancellations I request a credit card to be securely held on file.

I have a service agreement that is easy to sign when you register. You can read that here now if you like, or later when registering.

Clients who are newly registered (this excludes those on the waitlist) who don't make an appointment within the first 3 months of registering will be deregistered and will need to register again and take their place in the queue of the waitlist.

Clients who don't come in for a minimum of two completed services each year will also be deregistered as 'once a year' clients place pressure on my availability and make it harder for existing regulars to rebook.

7% of cats I meet for the first time I'm unable to groom. If you are in this position I only charge for work that has been done (often none at all) and I will take roughly half an hour to make a thorough assessment and give you advice on how to best care for your cat. That may include recommending a vet visit, a drug called gabapentin or something else.

I only perform a bad mat or pelt removal shaving once. I don't judge the condition of a cat's coat health, especially for new clients, but I do not see cats for shaving only when the problem is too far gone. This is to ensure I don't enable outcomes that are not in the best interests of the health and welfare of cats. Compacted coats are an example of a coat being left too long between grooms.

Reschedules can be made 48 hours prior to your booking without loss of your booking deposit.

We may use images of your cat on this website, social media pages or YouTube channel (The Cat Groomer Guy). If you choose to not participate, please let me know, and if an image of your cat is posted I will be happy to remove it should you choose.

Final price for services is at my discretion but in the vast majority of instances will be $142 - $220. On occasion I will need to modify the final price. It is very rare I would charge more than $50 and this would be for particularly compacted or matted fur. If your cat is more than 'just a little' matted you can expect the price to be closer to $220.
